Police seek help in finding teen runaway
A 16-year-old girl’s family has not seen her in several days, and Charleston police are asking for help finding her.
Aaliyah Collins was last seen Sunday at her house at 36-A America St., according to police. She phoned her grandmother after that to say she was OK but did not say where she was, according to police spokesman Charles Francis. The girl is not thought to be in any danger and has no known medical issues, although her family wants to find her.
Police released a photo of her today.
She is described as slim and about 5 feet, 9 inches tall.
Anyone with information is asked to Charleston police at 577-7434 or leave an anonymous tip at Crime Stoppers at 554-1111.
