Jan. 24: Portable Planetarium: Constellation Revelation at James Island County Park. 4-5 p.m. A registered and paid chaperon is required for participants ages 15 and under. Age: 9 & up. Fee: $9/$7 CCR Discount. Pre-registration is required.

Jan. 25: Beachwalker Bird Walks at Beachwalker Park. 8:30-11 a.m. Group will hike nearly two miles of pristine beach looking for a variety of birds, including raptors and songbirds. A registered chaperon is required for participants ages 15 and under. Age: 12 & up. Fee: Free; however, pre-registration is required.

Jan. 26, 30: Early Morning Bird Walks at Caw Caw Interpretive Center. 8:30-11:30 a.m. Pre-registration is encouraged, but walk-in registrations at Caw Caw are welcome. A chaperon is required for participants ages 15 and under. Fee: $5/Free for Gold Pass members.

Jan. 26: Seashore Exploration at Beachwalker Park. 1-2:30 p.m. A registered and paid chaperon is required for participants ages 15 and under. Age: 9 & up. Fee: $9/$7 CCR Discount. Pre-registration is required.

Jan. 28-Feb 1: Wilderness First Responder at James Island County Park. 8 a.m.-6 p.m. This course is considered the definitive medical training course for outdoor professionals and enthusiasts. Minimum enrollment required. Age: 16 & up. Fee: $700/$675 CCR Discount. Pre-registration is required.
