Lowcountry Democrats to host youth political summit Saturday

Lowcountry Democrats are hosting a political summit at noon Saturday to outline how young adults can get more involved in elections.

The panelists include: Clay Middleton, former Lowcountry coordinator for U.S. Rep. James Clyburn, D-S.C.; College Democrats of South Carolina president James Smith; Berkeley County Democratic Chair Melissa Watson; Chris Covert of the West Ashley Democrats; and Sam Skardon, legislative correspondent for U.S. Rep. John Lewis, D-Ga.
