Martin Luther King Federal Holiday Parade will wind through downtown this morning

The Martin Luther King Federal Holiday Parade will kickoff today in Charleston at 11 a.m. at downtown Burke High School.

The parade will go down Fishburne Street and Ashley Avenue before taking Sumter Street to King Street. It will end at Marion Square on Calhoun Street

Nancy McGinley, superintendent of Charleston County schools, is the parade’s marshall.
