Walterboro man shot in chest while being shown gun
A 20-year-old Walterboro man was shot in the chest while another man was showing him a shotgun today.
The apparent accident happened shortly after 2:30 p.m. at an apartment on State Street, Colleton County Fire and Rescue Chief Barry McRoy said.
The man was taken to the ER at Colleton County Medical Center and airlifted to Medical University hospital, he said.
Walterboro police are investigating.
