Sometimes tenants can seize on that rare combination: properties with upscale features yet more down-to-earth costs.

An example is 9711 Stockport Circle, located just south of Summerville in the Buckshire neighborhood.

“It’s got a really open floor plan,” says Sarah Pulliam, who is handling the lease.

In the kitchen, the 1,200-square-foot house boasts a gas stove among a host of stainless steel appliances as well as tile floors. It showcases a fireplace in the living room with recessed space overhead for a television.

The rent is $1,200 a month. A year’s lease is preferred, she says.

While the size of the ranch-style house is not overwhelming, it is sizable enough for three bedrooms and two baths. There’s also a one-car garage.

The property includes a fenced-in backyard and a decent-sized lawn in front.

As an added bonus, patio furniture and a washer and dryer are staying with the house and would be available to a tenant, Pulliam says.

The residence is in a new-home neighborhood, and renters can take advantage of Buckshire’s amenities including a community pool.

Pets are negotiable, she says.

Another perk about 9711 Stockport is its convenient surroundings. Notably, the site is close to Interstate 26, which can be reached via Jamison and Ladson roads.

Pulliam foresees a number of tenant types who would be interested in the property, based on its moderately sized inside and fairly roomy outside.

“It’s probably an older couple or a young family starting out,” she says.

The house for lease is on the northern side of Buckshire. Proceeding west on I-26, pass the Ashley Phosphate Road turnoff and take exit 205A, which is U.S. Highway 78. Follow Highway 78 to Ladson Road and make a left. Take Ladson Road for about two miles and turn right on Jamison Road. Follow Jamison for a mile, then steer right on Middlesboro Avenue into Buckshire. Follow Middlesboro until it ends at Stockport Circle. Make a right on Stockport. Ahead on the left is 9711 Stockport Circle.
