Charleston police release photo of attempted robbery suspect
Charleston police are asking for help identifying a suspect in an attempted armed robbery.
Police today released a photo of a man who is the primary suspect in a Jan. 3 robbery attempt with a kitchen knife in front of 1940 Sam Rittenberg Blvd.
The man goes by the nickname “Baby.” He is described as between 6 feet and 6 feet 2 inches tall, 150 to 170 pounds, with a scar under his left eye. He was last seen on Ezekiel Avenue in North Charleston.
Anyone with information is asked to call Charleston police at 577-7434 or leave an anonymous tip at Crime Stoppers at 554-1111.
