Tickets for the sixth annual McDonald’s Choir Showcase, scheduled for 7 p.m. May 5 at the North Charleston Performing Arts Center, went on sale last week.
The event will feature songs of inspiration from the area’s gospel choirs, praise and worship teams and contemporary Christian groups, as well as performances by national recording artists.
Former news anchor and McDonald’s Choir Showcase co-producer Tia Brewer-Footman will return as co-host of the event.
Headliners include Grammy and NAACP Image Award nominee and Dove Award-winning vocalist Tamela Mann and Grammy Award nominee Sheri Jones-Moffett.
“We are delighted to unite and inspire the community through this transformative event,” said Gerald Foot- man, co-producer and CEO of Footman-Brewer Enterprises.
Christian music groups from the Charleston and surrounding areas are invited to register and upload songs at www.ChoirShowcase.com for the chance to be a featured performer at the concert.
