College of Charleston cruises past Chattanooga, 86-59
College of Charleston guard Anthony Stitt scored 20 points to lead five players in double figures as the Cougars cruised past Chattanooga, 86-59, before a crowd of about 2,500 Saturday afternoon at TD Arena.
It was the best all-around performance of the season from the Cougars (11-5, 3-1), who looked much sharper just two days after losing to Samford (62-57).The Moccasins fell to 7-10 and 2-2.
The Cougars used a 20-2 run to start the game as Chattanooga never had a chance from the opening tipoff.
Adjehi Baru and Willis Hall each finished with 13 points, while Trent Wiedeman and Anthony Thomas chipped in 11 points each.
