Samford rallies to beat College of Charleston, 62-57

Raijon Kelly scored 15 points and Will Cook added 10 points as Samford rallied to beat College of Charleston, 62-57, Thursday night before a crowd of 3,610 at TD Arena.

The Cougars (10-5, 2-1 in SoCon) had their five-game win streak snapped with the loss. The Bulldogs improved to 4-12 and 2-1.

The Bulldogs used an 18-4 run over the final five minutes to pull out the victory.

College of Charleston center Adjehi Baru led the Cougars with 18 points, 11 rebounds and three blocks. Andrew Lawrence finished with 14 points.

The Cougars will face Chattanooga Saturday afternoon at 4 p.m., at TD Arena.
