West Ashley woman arrested in child abduction case
A West Ashley woman who was wanted for abducting her two children was arrested today.
Patricia Michelle Moon was taken into custody about 7:30 p.m. at her home on Stinson Drive, according to Charleston police spokesman Charles Francis. The 9-year-old girl and 7-year-old boy are fine, he said.
The Appling County Sheriff Office and the Georgia Bureau of Investigation had put out a notice that the children were last seen with their mother Tuesday and were thought to be “in extreme danger.”
