Moncks Corner man wins 2 tickets from McDonalds to Pro Bowl
A Moncks Corner man walked into McDonald’s in North Charleston in early December to buy Chicken McNuggets for lunch.
When he walked out, he was on his way to the 2013 Pro Bowl in Hawaii.
Phillip Monroe became one of up to 20 instant winners in the fast-food chain’s Pro Bowl Pass Game after he bought a 20-piece Chicken McNuggets meal during a pro bowl promotion Dec. 4-18.
The promotion launched on the heels of McDonald’s announcement as the official restaurant sponsor of the NFL. McDonald’s will become the presenting sponsor of this year’s Pro Bowl on Jan. 27 and be able to feature the NFL shield and collective use of all 32 team logos in its marketing and advertising.
Monroe’s winning ticket allows travel for two to Hawaii, including airfare, accommodations, tailgates and two tickets to the Pro Bowl.
“I was very excited about being selected as winner,” Monroe said in a press release. “I’m looking forward to the trip to Hawaii and, since my wife is a huge NFL fan, she is very excited as well.”
