While location and price typically top their lists, tenants don’t always agree on the many other features they may find important in a rental property.

Some renters want lots of interior space, others desire plenty of room outside, say for their kids to play.

Another perk for some tenants is a house with a host of extras or specific attractions such as a bonus room, attic storage, sprinkler system or security alarm.

In the case of 8561 Waccamaw Court in North Charleston, the renter can take advantage of various accoutrements not always found in a home for lease — at least not all in one place.

Situated in the neighborly Lakes of Northwoods community off Otranto Boulevard, the single-story residence is for lease for $1,175 a month.

“This home offers a large kitchen (and) breakfast area,” says Chuck Livingston, of Re/Max Pro Realty who is handling the lease. Spotlighting the kitchen are a range, dishwasher and refrigerator, he says.

The family room, too, is large and comes complete with a fireplace.

Giving the house versatility are three bedrooms, making it spacious enough for a family. The master bedroom is equipped with a walk-in closet. There are also two bathrooms.

A notable feature of 8561 Waccamaw Court is its convenient layout. The home’s utility room, which comes equipped with a washer and dryer, leads to the double garage. Off the living quarters is a “cozy screened porch that overlooks a private, wood fenced backyard,” Livingston says.

The rental house is on the north side of the Lakes of Northwoods, a neighborhood within Northwood Estates.

Traveling north, take Interstate 26 to exit 209A, which is U.S. Highway 52. Follow Highway 52 to the second traffic light for Otranto Boulevard. Turn left on Otranto, go less than a mile and take the third left, which is Brook Forest Drive. Proceed a short distance, and Waccamaw Court is on the left. Ahead is 8561 Waccamaw Court.
