Mount Pleasant fire under investigation

The Charleston County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a fire that damaged a home in Mount Pleasant Weddnesday afternoon.

Deputies are working with the Awendaw Fire Department to determine the case of a blaze that damaged a home at 2769 Rifle Range Road at 4:55 p.m., Sheriff’s Maj. Jim Brady said.

No one was reported injured in the fire, Brady said.
