Palmetto Scholars Academy in North Charleston accepting applications for 2013-14 school year
Palmetto Scholars Academy, a charter school for gifted and talented students, is accepting applications for sixth through 11th grades for the 2013-14 school year.
The deadline to apply is Feb. 8. The school is based in North Charleston, and it accepts any South Carolina student who can arrange transportation.
The school has scheduled seven open houses for students and their families. They will be held at the school, 2415 Avenue F, on the following dates: Saturday at 10 a.m.; Jan. 10 at 6:30 p.m.; Jan. 12 at 10 a.m.; Jan. 15 at 6:30 p.m.; Jan. 23 at 6:30 p.m.; Jan. 26 at 10 a.m.; and Feb. 2 at 10 a.m.
