Moncks Corner man dies after fall from tractor

A Moncks Corner man died Saturday night after he fell from his tractor.

Richard Watson Murray, 41, was driving the tractor about 11:30 p.m. when he lost control, Berkeley County Coroner Bill Salisbury said.

Salisbury said Murray was ejected from the tractor before it veered into a farm pond. Friends found him about 30 minutes later and he was pronounced dead at the scene from a head injury, Salisbury said.

The death has been ruled an accident.
