Suspect arrested in Christmas Eve slaying in Darlington
DARLINGTON, S.C. -- Police have arrested a suspect in the Christmas Eve killing of a Darlington man.
Authorities say they arrested 22-year-old Kiarand Myron Bonaparte on Friday night and charged him with murder. It wasn’t known if he had a lawyer.
Investigators are still looking for more suspects in the Monday night killing of 38-year-old Antwain Jones. Authorities say Bonaparte and several others rushed into a home at around 8 p.m. that night intending to rob Jones, whose body was later found in the street.
Police are also looking for 26-year-old Michael Rashawn Jackson, 31-year-old Jason Jones and 24-year-old Jonathan Wesley McCall. They are all wanted on charges of murder, weapons possession, attempted murder and armed robbery.
