Deputies arrest man, seek second suspect in burglary of Ravenel home
Charleston County deputies arrested a man accused of burglarizing a Ravenel home last month.
Joseph Singletary, 18, of Burbage Road in Ravenel was charged with burglary, possession of a firearm during the commission of a violent crime, and simple possession of marijuana, which was found during his arrest Thursday, Maj. Jim Brady said.
The arrest was made in connection with a burglary that happened at 7246 Highway 165 in Ravenel on Nov. 28, Brady said.
Deputies say Singletary and a second man entered through the back door of the home and stole several items, including jewelry, iPods, computers and two guns.
Deputies are still searching for the second man, who Brady said has not been identified.
Singletary is expected to have a bond hearing at 2 p.m. today, Brady said.
