A patriotic landing: American bald eagle makes stop at Castle Pinckney

Courtney Friedman was fishing Saturday in the waters around Castle Pinckney in Charleston harbor when an American bald eagle landed atop the flagpole at the fort. The 15-star flag was the nation’s banner when the fort was completed in 1810.
