A driver was hospitalized after a wreck on Savannah Hospitalized this morning.

The wreck happened near Old Jacksonboro Road about 6:20 a.m., Charleston County Sheriff’s Maj. Jim Brady said.

A Toyota Camry ran into the back of a logging truck, causing the Camry to catch fire, Brady said.

The St. Paul’s Fire Department extinguished the fire, and Brady said the driver of the Camry was hospitalized with minor injuries.

The road was blocked as authorities cleared the wreck. Brady said it reopened about 7:30 a.m.
