College of Charleston cruises past Old Dominion, 76-65
Adjehi Baru scored a career-high 20 points and Andrew Lawrence added 17 to lead the College of Charleston past Old Dominion, 76-65, tonight before a crowd of about 2,000 at TD Arena.
The win snapped a modest two-game losing streak for the Cougars (6-4). The Monarchs fell to 1-10.
Anthony Thomas had 13 points and four assists for the Cougars.
The Monarchs were led by DeAhawn Painter’s 15 points.
The Cougars connected on seven of their first eight shots of the second half to break open the game.
Trent Wiedeman, who missed six games with a sprained right ankle, rolled his left ankle midway through the second half and did not return to the game.
