Citadel basketball drops fourth straight game at Gardner-Webb, 71-58

BOILING SPRINGS, N.C. — The Citadel basketball team lost its fourth straight game tonight, dropping a 71-58 decision at Gardner-Webb.

The Bulldogs fell to 3-5 overall despite points and 15 rebounds from senior center Mike Groselle. Dylen Setzekorn scored 16 points off the bench. Before the game, coach Chuck Driesell announced that sophomore forward C.J. Bray of James Island is out for the season with an ankle injury.

Donta Harper scored 27 points for Gardner-Webb (7-5), which shot 61 percent in the second half.

The Bulldogs’ six-game road trip continues Wednesday at St. Bonaventure.
