A man accused of using a credit card that was stolen from a womanís van turned himself in to Goose Creek police.
Police on Thursday arrested Damontrai Glover, 18, of Prospect Way and charged him with financial transaction card fraud and receiving stolen goods.
The arrest was made in connection with an incident that happened last week.
A woman told police she parked her blue Chrysler Town and Country van at her Sully Street home about 8 p.m. Dec. 4., and forgot her wallet inside the vehicle.
She noticed her wallet missing when she came outside the next morning, and several items from her glove compartment were scattered on her front passenger seat, an incident report states.
The woman told police she must have left the door unlocked because she didnít notice any forced entry into the vehicle.
A surveillance camera captured Glover and a secondman using one of the womanís credit cards at a Walmart in Goose Creek on Dec. 4, police say.
The two men drove away in a light colored Ford extended cab truck, police say
Police located the second man and he cooperated with the investigation, Capt. John Grainger said.
That man is not considered a suspect, Grainger said.
Glover is being held at the Berkeley County jail.
