Daniel Island man accused of sexually assaulting 12-year-old girl

Charleston police on Tuesday arrested a Daniel Island man accused of kissing and inappropriately touching a friendís 12-year-old daughter.

Police say Kenneth Lloyd, 51, of River Landing Drive assaulted a womanís daughter when the woman stepped out of the room to make coffee Nov. 11.

Lloyd only stopped the assault when the woman returned to the room, an incident report states.

The woman told police Floyd assaulted her daughter again Nov. 18 when she stepped outside of the room to take a shower.

The girl on Nov. 23 told her mother about the assaults and the woman notified police, the report said.

Police charged Floyd with third-degree criminal sexual conduct with a minor.

He was held at the Berkeley County jail.
