Support group to hold candlelight vigil for homicide victims

The Survivors of Homicide Support Group will hold its 13th annual Candlelight Vigil and Service of Remembrance on Friday.

Wesley United Methodist Church’s male choir will perform at the event, and poems will be read by survivors, a news release said.

The vigil is open to the public and light refreshments will be served, the release said.

The vigil will take place Friday at 6:30 p.m. at the John Wesley United Methodist Church, 626 Savannah Highway.
