Goose Creek church to host outreach cookout Saturday
St. Andrew’s Church-Goose Creek is hosting a Christmas outreach cookout 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, 301 Red Bank Road.
The “Happy Birthday Jesus” party will feature food and refreshments, face painting, carnival games and a jump castle. Mayor Michael J. Heitzler will be on hand to sign copies of his new book, “The Goose Creek Bridge: Gateway to Sacred Places.” Proceeds from the sale of the $20 book will be given to the church.
