Charleston police seek man accused of pawning stolen GPS
Charleston police are searching for a man accused of pawning a stolen GPS over the weekend.
Police say Demetrius Wells, 33, of Paramount Drive in North Charleston has two active warrants for receiving stolen goods and larceny by false pretense.
Wells is accused of pawning a stolen GPS navigation system Saturday, police spokesman Charles Francis said.
Wells is known to frequent downtown Charleston and the Dorchester Road in North Charleston, Francis said.
Francis described Wells as being 6 feet tall, and 150 pounds with medium length dreads.
