1,900 briefly lose power in North Charleston
About 1,900 South Carolina Electric & Gas customers in North Chareston lost power for about 13 minutes this morning due to an unexplained outage.
Kim Asbill, an SCE&G spokeswoman, said workers quickly switched customers to other circuits, and power to all was restored by 11:42 a.m.
Crews are still working to discover the cause of the outage.
