Man dies of injuries after being hit by vehicle in Goose Creek
Marco Recinos, 40, of Goose Creek died early Sunday morning from injuries he received when a vehicle struck him while he was crossing Redbank Road, Berkeley County Coroner Bill Salisbury said.
The vehicle hit Recinos at about 7 p.m. Saturday near Goose Creek High School. He was transported by helicopter to the Medical University where he died of massive head trauma, Salisbury said.
The coroner and the Highway Patrol are investigating the accident.
