CLEMSON - Clemson defensive backs coach Charlie Harbison will join the Auburn staff, recruit Adrian Baker told TigerIllustrated.com on Saturday evening.
Harbison is close to new Auburn defensive coordinator Ellis Johnson.
Harbison is regarded as a quality recruiter - and could hurt Clemson’s chances with several prospects - but the on-the-field performance of Clemson’s defensive backs has regressed in recent seasons.
Harbison has been with Clemson since 2009.
Harbison was well paid, earning $375,000 this fall.
