Driver hospitalized after wreck in North Charleston
A driver was hospitalized after lodging a Cadillac under a tractor trailer in a wreck on Azalea Drive this morning.
A tractor trailer was turning from Rourk Drive onto Azalea Drive when it was hit by the Cadillac, North Charleston Deputy Chief Scott Deckard said.
The Cadillac’s driver was hospitalized for treatment of minor injuries, and the tractor trailer’s driver was cited for failure to yield, Deckard said.
Azalea Drive was closed temporarily as authorities cleared the wreck. It has since been reopened, Deckard said.
