Coaches name Clemson quarterback Tajh Boyd ACC player of the year

CLEMSON - After breaking numerous school and conference offensive records this fall, Clemson quarterback Tajh Boyd was named the ACC player of the year by the conference’s coaches on Wednesday.

Clemson wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins, running back Andre Ellington and center Dalton Freeman were also named as first-team ACC performers by the coaches.

Boyd threw for 3,550 passing yards this fall and combined for 43 rushing and passing touchdowns.
