The missing Goose Creek boy whose wet dog was spotted dragging the leash this afternoon has been found.
A member of the Berkeley Rescue Squad found the 13-year-old tonight in the woods adjacent to Montague Plantation area.
The boy had lost the dog and was looking for him, said Rescue Squad Chief Bill Salisbury.
The boy had left his house on Pecan Grove Avenue about 4 p.m. with the dog. The dog was found later without the boy.
The Goose Creek Police Department called in the rescue squad. The Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office brought in dogs. And the Charleston County Sheriff’s Office brought in a helicopter.
