Fifth suspect arrested in armed robbery, burglary on Ashley Hall Road
Charleston police arrested a fifth suspect Monday in connection with an armed robbery and burglary that happened on Ashley Hall Road last month.
Police charged Jordan Lamel Williams, 21, of Molle Lane with armed robbery and first-degree burglary, spolice spokesman Charles Francis said.
Williams is on probation for a previous burglary charge, and Francis said he is being held at the Charleston County jail.
The incident happened about 4:30 p.m. on Nov. 1. Five people, one of which was armed with a pistol, entered an apartment on Ashley Hall Road and robbed a resident of his money, Francis said.
Isaiah Terrell Wittrell, 18, of Orange Grove Road, Marquis T. Frazier, 16, of Locksley Drive, Jordan Shaquan Green, 17, of Little John Drive and Lamont Gregg, 16, of Orange Grove Road were also arrested and charged in connection with the incident, Francis said.
Wittrell and Green were held in the Charleston County Jail. Francis said Frazier and Greg were held in the juvenile detention center.
The case is still under investigation, Francis said.
