Mary Lee back for more?
Mary Lee, the two-ton great white shark that has been haunting the Lowcountry coast, circled back today after making her way as far north as Cape Fear, N.C. A satellite ping this afternoon put the 16-foot-long shark off Myrtle Beach, but well out to sea.
The shark has been prowling the South Atlantic Bight waters from North Carolina to Florida since early October. She has twice passed near Charleston area beaches.
