The annual Parade of Boats returns to Charleston Harbor on Saturday and Patriots Point is getting in the holiday spirit.

From 5–6 p.m. Saturday, the naval and maritime museum in Mount Pleasant will offer a special discounted rate of $5 for those who wish to view the parade from the flight deck of the World War II-era aircraft carrier Yorktown. Parking is $5.

The parade begins at 5:30 p.m. and will pass below the Yorktown before crossing the harbor to the Charleston side of the Cooper River. Parade spectators are free to tour the ship until 6:30 p.m., when the museum closes to the public.
