Police identify two North Charleston men wounded by gunfire Sunday
Police have identified the two men believed to be wounded in a shootout in North Charleston Sunday.
Herbert Louis Frasier III, 20, of Leeds Avenue was shot in the left wrist, according to the incident report released today. He told police a man known as “T” and another man, both with guns, tried to rob him when he was sitting in his car in the 2700 block of Gordon Street about 3:20 p.m. Sunday.
Frasier also told police he fired back at the men as they ran away.
A man who showed up at Medical University Hospital with a gunshot wound Sunday afternoon was identified as Terrence Kendall McNeil Jr., 17, of Bexley Street in North Charleston.
Investigators are working to determine what happened and believe McNeil may have been involved in the robbery, North Charleston police spokesman Spencer Pyor said.
