Ministers from the 17 countries that use the euro, International Monetary Fund and European Central Bank meet to discuss giving Greece bailout money.

TUESDAY

Commerce Department releases durable goods for October, 8:30 a.m.; Standard & Poor’s releases S&P/Case-Shiller index of home prices for September and the third quarter, 9 a.m.; the Conference Board releases the Consumer Confidence Index for November, 10 a.m.

WEDNESDAY

Commerce Department releases new home sales for October, 10 a.m.; Federal Reserve releases Beige Book, 2 p.m.

THURSDAY

Labor Department releases weekly jobless claims, 8:30 a.m.; Freddie Mac releases weekly mortgage rates, 10 a.m.; National Association of Realtors releases pending home sales index for October, 10 a.m. Selected chain retailers release November sales.

FRIDAY

Commerce Department releases personal income and spending for October, 8:30 a.m.
