CHARLESTON ANGLER BY THE NUMBERS: Jason Bennett was the Week 1 winner of The Charleston Angler’s “By the Numbers” spot-tail tournament, catching a redfish with 10 spots. Jason Schall won Week 2 with a fish that had 6 spots.
CREEKSIDE BASSMASTERS: Bo Crawford took first place in the Creekside Bassmasters’ November tournament, fished out of Black’s Camp on the Santee Cooper lakes, catching five bass that weighed 12.31 pounds. Sid Fowler Sr. was second with two fish that weighed 8.38 pounds, including the tournament’s big fish, 6.11 pounds. Gene Williams finished third with three bass that weighed 7.75 pounds.

BULLS ISLAND ARCHERY HUNTS: The second of the 2012 Cape Romain Refuge Bulls Island archery hunts for white-tailed deer will be held Dec. 3-8. Hunters must possess state-required hunting licenses and equipment and must check in and sign the register before beginning hunting.
