Woman with lighter at gas pump stopped from setting self ablaze

A woman who apparently tried to set herself on fire at a West Ashley gas station this afternoon was talked down by horrified customers as others blocked off entrances and pulled back onlookers.

The woman set down the lighter and pump hose shortly before police arrived.
