The Lowcountry has been put under a freeze watch for Saturday night into Sunday by the National Weather Service.
Lows are expected from the 30s to the upper 20s for a two hour-span closer to Hwy. 17 and a 4-5 hour span farther inland.
Damage to crops and plants is likely unless they are protected or taken inland.
The first freezing temperatures of the winter were recorded by the weather service overnight Thursday.
