Let’s face it, Black Friday isn’t for the weak. Shoppers either get it, or they don’t, in many ways. The bottom line is the old saying, “The early bird gets the worm” and in this case, “the deal.”

Here is just a short list of area store openings and offerings. There are many more on the Savvy Shopper blog at http://blog.postandcourier.com/savvy-shopper. Happy shopping!

Joan Body says Black Friday Drop-n-Shop is “on” at The Artists’ Loft, 327 Folly Road, Folly Beach. You can leave your little pixies with them to enjoy art, a snack and a movie while you clear the shelves. There are two sessions, 9 a.m.-noon or 1-4 p.m., where $30 buys you peace of mind and a mess that stays behind plus some take-home art you can give as gifts. E-mail info@theartistsloftschool.com or call 327-2019. Body says space is limited, so call her soon.
