Charter school targeting gifted students accepting applications for 2013-14 school year

A charter school open to students across the Lowcountry that targets gifted and talented students is accepting applications for the 2013-14 school year.

Palmetto Scholars Academy is in North Charleston, but any South Carolina sixth- through 11th-grade student can apply. The school was rated a perfect 100 under the federal accountability system, and it earned an “excellent” rating on its state report card.
