College of Charleston beats Boston College, 71-67
College of Charleston guard Andrew Lawrence scored 22 points to lead the Cougars past Boston College, 71-67, Sunday afternoon on the final day of The Charleston Classic.
Lawrence, who missed the Auburn game with a stomach virus, connected on 5 of 8 shots from the field and hit 10 of 12 free throws.
Anthony Stitt added 14 points for the Cougars. The Cougars went 1-2 in the tournament with losses to St. Johnís (64-53) and Auburn (55-51).
The Eagles (1-3) were led by Patrick Heckmannís 18 points.
