Greenville teacher resigns for sending photos
GREENVILLE — A science teacher at a Greenville high school has resigned and been arrested after police say she sent improper text messages and photos of herself to two students.
Forty-year-old Michelle Jensen resigned late last week after she was questioned by the principal at J.L. Mann High. The principal questioned Jensen after another teacher reported she had heard a conversation between boys.
Jensen is charged with two felony counts of illegal sending obscene materials to people under age 18 and two counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
She was a first-year teacher at the school. She started as a substitute and was made a full-time teacher last month.
It was not clear if she has an attorney.
