DíAngelo Harrison scored 21 points and Amir Garrett chipped in 11 points to lead St. Johnís past the College of Charleston, 64-53, Thursday afternoon in the opening game for both teams in The Charleston Classic at TD Arena.
The Cougars will face the loser of the Murray State-Auburn game Friday at 7:30 p.m.
The Cougars, who shot just 37 percent from the floor, were led by Nori Johnson with 11 points and Trent Wiedeman with 10 points.
