Charleston police release photos of drug store robbery suspect
Charleston police are asking for help finding a man who robbed a West Ashley drug store this afternoon.
The man took Oxycodone from the Rite Aid at 1115 Old Town Road about 3 p.m., according to Charleston police spokesman Charles Francis. The suspect’s image was captured on the store’s surveillance camera.
No weapon was displayed. The man is described as white, about 6 feet tall, with a thin build and shoulder-length hair. He was last seen wearing a black baseball cap, black jacket and dark pants.
Anyone with information is asked to call Charleston police at 577-7434 or leave an anonymous tip at Crime Stoppers at 554-1111.
