Goose Creek police asking help finding runaway girl

Goose Creek police are asking for help finding a girl who has been missing more than two weeks.

Janish Capers, 16, ran away from her house Oct. 27, according to a police announcement released today.

She has black hair and brown eyes, is 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighs 300 pounds.

She is thought to be in the Charleston area, although police have no solid leads on her location, Capt. John Grainger said.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Goose Creek Police Department at 863-5200 or Investigator Riccio at 863-5200 ext. 2337.
