Charleston police are searching for three men who kicked in an apartment door and robbed three people at gunpoint Wednesday night.
Three men told police they were sitting on a couch in an apartment on Amherst Street when three other men kicked through the front door and attacked them shortly before midnight.
The victims described their attackers as three black men wearing black hoodies, according to an incident report.
According to the victims, the men presented a pistol and ordered them to the ground as they ransacked the apartment for valuables.
The victims handed over their wallets, cell phones, a PlayStation, laptop, and a video camera, the report said.
The men were at the apartment for about 10 minutes before they ran away from the scene.
The victims used a computer to send a Facebook message to a friend, asking that person to call police, the report said.
Police searched the area and stopped several people matching the menís descriptions, but the victims were not able to identify them.
The burglary is still under investigation, the report said.
