Greek cookbook author to share samples on King St.

Patricia Moore-Pastides, wife of University of South Carolina President Harris Pastides and the author of “Greek Revival: Cooking for Life,” will be at Carolina on King Sunday. She will speak with guests, offer samples from her recipes, and sign books from 1-3 p.m. Book sales benefit the USC Health and Sustainability Fund.

Moore-Pastides holds a Master of Public Health degree from Yale University and espouses the benefits of the Mediterranean lifestyle. Recipes call for natural, minimally processed ingredients readily found in most neighborhood supermarkets, with 87 recipes designed for the needs and appetites of everyday cooks.
